Bike Rental in Rishikesh
Fifty vehicles from ₹500 a day, delivered free anywhere in town, papers in order for the whole of Uttarakhand.
Rishikesh does not reward people without their own transport. The town is strung out over eight kilometres of riverbank, the good stuff — Neelkanth, Kunjapuri, the waterfall road — is outside it, and autos price you by how lost you look. A bike solves all of it for less than the day’s auto fare.

Where We Deliver — Free
Our shop is a two-minute walk from the Ram Jhula footbridge on the Swarg Ashram side. If you’re staying at Parmarth Niketan, Geeta Bhawan or anywhere along the east bank, you can walk to us without crossing the river.
Everywhere else, we bring the bike to you at no charge:
- Tapovan — most hostels and cafés, delivered to the door
- Laxman Jhula — vehicle access stops at the bridge; we’ll meet you on the road side
- Muni Ki Reti & Shivpuri — including the rafting camps
- Rishikesh Railway Station & ISBT — arrive, walk out, ride
- Swarg Ashram, Ram Jhula, Haridwar Road — walk-in or delivered
Message your hotel name on WhatsApp and we’ll be there. More on pickup and delivery →
What You Need to Bring
- An original driving licence valid for the vehicle class. A gearless licence does not cover a geared motorcycle.
- One original government photo ID — Aadhaar, Voter ID or Passport — which stays with us until the bike returns.
- The refundable security deposit, ₹3,000 for the Activa, ₹5,000 for any Royal Enfield.
- You must be 18 or over.
Foreign visitors need a passport plus an International Driving Permit issued in their home country. Full document requirements, including the IDP rules →
Choosing a Bike for Rishikesh
Staying in town. Take the Activa 125. No gears, easy in the Laxman Jhula lanes, cheap, and you can park it anywhere. It handles Kunjapuri and Neelkanth without complaint too.
First time on a Royal Enfield. The Hunter 350 — lowest seat, lightest, most forgiving in traffic.
Here for the look. The Classic 350. It’s the bike in everyone’s Rishikesh photo for a reason.
Going north. A Himalayan 411 or 450. Ground clearance and long suspension travel are not luxuries on the Guptkashi road; they’re the difference between a good day and a bent rim.
Staying for a month. Yoga students on a TTC: the Activa at ₹9,000 a month works out to ₹300 a day. Message us for longer arrangements on the Royal Enfields.
Riding Out of Rishikesh
Rishikesh is a trailhead, not a destination. Half our renters leave town within a day.
- Kunjapuri sunrise — 35 km, leave at 4:30 AM, Bandarpunch to Gangotri lit up at dawn
- Neelkanth Mahadev — 32 km of forest ghat road and thirty-odd hairpins
- Chopta and Tungnath — 165 km, two days, meadows above the treeline
- Kedarnath — 220 km, three days, the classic
- The full Chardham circuit — 1,600 km, twelve days
No kilometre limit, no restriction on leaving the district. Just tell us where you’re headed.
Why Book Here Rather Than the Shop Next Door
Rishikesh has a lot of bike rental shops and the good ones are genuinely good. What separates us:
Correct plates. Taxi-series, insured, approved for self-drive across Uttarakhand. Ask any shop for a photo of the RC before you pay a deposit — if it’s a private white plate, it isn’t legal for self-drive rental, and the risk transfers to you at the first checkpost.
Serviced to a schedule. Not when something breaks. Tyres, brakes, chain and lights are checked in front of you at handover, and we’d rather you point out a scratch then than argue about it later.
Fifty vehicles. Enough that a Himalayan is usually still available in the second week of June, which is not true everywhere.
Support on the road. A human on WhatsApp, and a mechanic’s number for your specific route before you leave.
Local since 2015. More about us →
