Haridwar is where most riders arrive and almost none of them start. The trains stop here, the Delhi buses stop here, and then everyone spends an hour getting to Rishikesh before they can pick up a bike.

Honest About How This Works
Our workshop, our mechanics and all fifty bikes are in Rishikesh, 25 km up the road. We don’t have a Haridwar shopfront and we’re not going to pretend otherwise.
What we do is deliver. A rider brings the bike down to Haridwar, meets you wherever you are, does the handover there, and takes a bus back. There’s a delivery fee for it — ask when you book, it depends on the bike and the season — and for most people it’s cheaper than the auto to Rishikesh and back, and considerably less hassle.
Delivery to: Har Ki Pauri · Haridwar Junction railway station · the bus stand · Bhupatwala · Jwalapur · any hotel or ashram in the city.
You can also drop the bike back in Haridwar at the end for the same arrangement — useful if you’re catching a train home.

Why Riders Start From Haridwar
You arrived by train. Haridwar Junction is the main railhead for the whole Garhwal region. Starting your ride the moment you step off the platform saves you most of a day.
You’re doing the Chardham and want to start at the source. Traditionally the yatra begins at Haridwar. Practically, it also means you ride the Haridwar–Rishikesh stretch as part of the trip rather than as a transfer.
You’re staying in Haridwar and riding out daily. Rishikesh is 25 km. Neelkanth, Kunjapuri and the Rajaji forest roads are all inside a comfortable day.

Every bike carries a commercial taxi-series plate with all-Uttarakhand permissions, so there’s no district you can’t ride into and no checkpost that will turn you around on paperwork.

What You Need
- Original driving licence, valid for the class — MCWG or LMV-MC for any Royal Enfield. A gearless licence covers the Activa only
- One original government photo ID, held until the bike returns
- ₹5,000 refundable deposit for a Royal Enfield, ₹3,000 for the Activa
- 18 or over
